I''m not sure if this will be read or not, but... This is still a popular spot but as of a couple weeks ago they have solid metal gates that go straight across and into the ground, they extend past there there were chain link gate supports to step across too. I''m not sure if anyone has found a way in again but the Ottawa side seems to be totally blocked off now.
