2022 update: building has been demolished. some remains still exist on the site. There are some abandoned mine shafts just off the trail that leads to the former location of the building - exercise caution when exploring these.

i would be uneasy walking in the bush for that distance given potential bears and what not, but then again, i am a city slicker!
