...was this Lakefield Auto Wreckers? I remember that place fondly. Bill was an amazingly kind man; any time my dad would ask how much a small part like a ball joint or a bracket of some kind would cost, it was always "I'll get you next time." Many a tire squealing exit from that place was made in the old big block chevy. Just like our youths, nothing lasts forever I suppose.

I see you were brave enough to step farther onto the floor. I took about 4 steps and felt it slowly start to sink so it was like "nope, not today."

What's remarkable about this room is how good of shape the wood was still in. It still had that sort of hot tub room smell to it.. like the warm smokey wet wood smell.

That was kinda what I was going for. Kids played here at one time; makes me wonder who looked the same direction when the window was whole.

I'm not certain. Structurally, this was one of the more solid places I've seen. I'm sure with each passing winter it'll get worse.
