I grew up close to here. I still know the family that lived there. It used to be a store. The gas affected the water and it was unsafe to live there. The church bought it and tore it down so they could use the space for parking. I spent a lot of my childhood in this house.

The old shop across from the mill is really neat, they left behind all kinds of ledgers and information about the mill. A lot of personal items there. My mom told me that in the 70s/80s there was a fire there and my mom helped put it out.

I watched and LOVED this! I have taken my canoe on the same creek the man and his daughter were on. It was really cool to see. I want to recreate the Mount Saint Patrick Millionaires jersey that is worn in the barn scene. That's where I am from.
