NGTOne Paid it another visit today, and I was so sad... apparently, the local vandals have finally discovered the place, and they did a real number on it. All the boards have been ripped out, all the windows are smashed, and they even made a decent go of trying to wreck that beautiful cast-iron stove :(

NGTOne Paid this place a visit this weekend. Looks like the stuff in the barn/house rotates through every so often, but there's been enough time between visits for a raccoon to crawl into the barn, die, and decay down to nothing but a skeleton and fur without being cleaned up. Lovely.

NGTOne Paid this place a visit over the Labour Day weekend - it's a fascinating explore, but watch the floors in the restaurant. A lot of them have caved in, and a good chunk of the rest are nearly there. Does anyone know why there's a random RV parked out front with a "for sale" sign? The satellite pictures of the area, while not great, clearly show that it's a recent addition.

NGTOne I was here over the 2016 Labour Day weekend, and can confirm there's not much left. The second building has totally collapsed into the swamp (it's to the right of the garage), and the roof has completely caved in and blocked the front door. There's also no trace left, as far as I could tell from the outside, of what this place used to be called. A sad end...

NGTOne Stopped by here over the 2016 Labour Day weekend. The main building is completely covered in new-ish boards, but the rest of the property is littered with interesting junk. The payphone's still there, as are the cool old mechanical gas pumps. There's also a number of abandoned cars and other similar stuff, including an old Bug. Apparently the locals like to dump their junk there now...

NGTOne Bulldozed now. Nothing left but a vacant lot and the vegetation (they left all the landscaping behind, rather ironically).

NGTOne Looks like the Guelph/Rockwood area has a serial arsonist roaming around - this place is the third abandoned farmhouse that's been hit in the last few weeks.

NGTOne Huh. I lived in this area for many years, and I've even visited the quarry (no photos, though), but I never noticed the old shooting range. Neat find.
