Talker Fair point, Motley. Meant to put a note in. I revised by description to include a warning.

Talker Was re boarded by the city A couple of weeks ago. A demolition permit was granted for the property, which will be replaced by several smaller houses.

Talker Used to love this place as a kid. Glad I finally got around to seeing this before they dig it all up. Presently, a Goodwill donation depot sits on the front portion of the lot. I understand they've been given the space for free (or highly reduced) until the owners decide to develop.

Talker A neat property architecturally as the silo is opened up, as well as the barn and house. From discarded furniture to old TVs to CLT computer monitors, the property itself has served as a dumping ground for years. The second story floor of the barn should be walked on with extreme caution, however.

Talker Fortunately the security guard didn't get there for me until I had seen the top two stories. I found the inside to be quite neat, actually. The former residents have left tons of old paperwork--chequebooks, calendars, receipts, etc. wish I had more time to explore before being kicked out. (With a warning.)

Talker Awesome location! Quite a neat property to explore, especially with the greenhouses attached. That said, be careful of the living things. I encountered a bat, a raccoon and a couple of birds...in the day time no less. (The raccoon is in my gallery.)

Talker Good job! I've checked this one out a couple of times without any luck. Is the way in pretty obvious?

Talker No easy point of entry as of yesterday. Some of the windows are boarded up. Some are unboarded, but closed and locked.

Talker From a local paper: http://www.londoncommunitynews.com/news-story/4527914-youtube-video-inspires-campaign-to-protect-historic-home/ It was only about a year ago the urban explorer known as TikiTrex uploaded a video to YouTube that detailed the state of vandalism and disrepair of the estate formerly known as The Cedars.

Talker It would take a lot of cash to restore, and I doubt it would be a viable business in this day and age because of the location, as well as the style of business, but man, I would love to see this up and running again.
