Six homes in a row, one was formerly an apartment building, on the same street, same side. All of which are boarded up, electrical meters torn out, grass is over grown, some windows were open, one door was padlocked. It's been noted that the city purchased the homes a while ago but has not done anything with them. Many things were left behind, in garages, porches and back yards. Some of them had spray painted numbers on them from one to six. It was bizarre standing in the middle of the street looking down at the six formerly owned homes that at one point I'm sure were quite cared for. None of these homes looked vandalized, none of the windows were smashed and I would love to keep it this way. Located on a quiet street in a small city, they have been untouched for quite some time. I was on my way to work today, it was rainy and some pictures are poor quality as I only had my Iphone.
