I want to send my sincere thanks to Leslie "Elf" Guillemette for finding this church

Back in 1963 the Walt Disney film crew flew over Haliburton and Muskoka to film the opening sequence of the classic "The Incredible Journey". I watched the movie again and saw a small back road village with a gorgeous stone church. I had no idea where this village could be and so asked around. Luckily a fan of "The Forest Rangers" (actors in this show appeared in the film too) did some research and located the church as being St. Mary's in the hamlet of Aspdin.

There is also an old church like this out by me in Ilfracombe I would love to check out this spring when they open it up.
