The rusty remains of the chair lifts from the Walkerton 'Ski Club'. The club operated as far back as the late 1930's according to a 1967 Wilfrid Laurier University report entitled 'An Analysis of the Spatial Distribution and Location of Ski Resorts in Southern Ontario'. Exciting read I'm sure. Anyways the all the lift towers is still there minus the cable as are the 4-5 runs and the cable return. The old 'chalet' or 'club house' has been converted into a private residence so if you want to see the lifts just keep an eye on on the left as you drive north on Yonge St past the entrance to Lobies Park. The lift is marked on Google oddly enough.

Ski Canada has a listing of closed ski clubs across Canada. Walkerton is not listed on there. http://skicanadamag.com/2008/05/25/travel/closed-runs
