Lock 27, or better known as the Feeder Canal, has not been used since 1920. The Feeder Canal was used as a water channel to bring water from the Grand River to the Welland Canal so there really isn't much to see with the exception of a waterway. However there a few remnants left from when small ships would use the canal to transport local goods. Say you are at Tim Horton's Cold Stone Creamery in Dunnville (new location), take Taylor Side Road, to North Shore Road (Stromness/Port Maitland/Lowbanks), keep going until you come to Canal Bank Road, take that road, all the way to end, and you will end up near Innophos Canada Inc. if you quickly look straight ahead, you will see the remains of Lock 27, the Feeder Canal.
