Paisley House

Demolished House in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Canada

Location # 4271

According to the Canadian County Atlas, this farm was once owned by James Paisley.

Today the house sits empty, falling apart with limited vandalism. The house was divided up into several small apartments. I found at least 3 small kitchens, several bedrooms, at least 5 separate entrances, and a labyrinth of passageways. The whole house felt creepy, in a way that can only be explained by those who have felt the feeling before. Don't know why, but I felt very anxious in here, maybe it was the way the house was divided up inside.

On Google maps, the air photo shows vehicles in the driveway, but the house seems to have been abandoned for a few years.

Back today and this place has been trashed! I went almost exactly 3 years ago and it's in way worse shape. Also saw some big birds flying away from the roof. Turkey vultures?

Was in and out of the main floor and upstairs in less than 5 minutes only due to it being black mould city with not much of real interest however the cellar does have some really awful vibes. Interestingly my brother wanted nothing to do with the place from the get go and lasted 30 seconds which is unusual for a seasoned explorer like him. And yes their are some Paisleys buried across the road.

Also I think Paisley may be buried in the graveyard across the street?

I felt the same anxiousness Timo, was there by my self around dusk so that might have had something to do with it but I felt very claustrophobic in that place... Didn't realize it was the same house until you moved my gallery...

you got quite a few good shots out of that place there wasn't a lot going on but sometimes that quietness is interesting in photos

Amazing find Timo, looks like a lot of life has been through this place in it's time. I know that feeling you refer to all to well. Some places just have a vibe that gives you goosebumps! Makes you start to wonder if it's just imagination or.....
