I(a)m not really sure what this building was, as I can(a)t seem to find any information on it right now. But it seems as if it(a)s one of the E.B Eddy buildings or part of the industry in Quebec in the past.

The building itself is situated behind the Museum of Civilization in Hull, and is fenced off with large fences and the entrances to the building itself are barred up like a jail, making entry that much more difficult. There also appears to be cameras mounted about halfway up the building but they don(a)t look as if they are at all active and they don(a)t observe the building below anyways so they are not an issue. The biggest problem is that the building is in such a public place, making it near impossible to enter without immediately being seen and then probably caught.

Bottom line, I wouldn(a)t recommend trying to enter unless you are a really experienced infiltrator and are willing to take the risk of getting caught and possibly charged.

It's the old E.B. Eddy digestor tower. Extensively documented ... here is a good summary: http://www.civilization.ca/cmc/exhibitions/hist/hull/rw_68_ie.shtml Anyone who grew up in Ottawa will remember the lovely smell of cabbage wafting over from the Hull side when the wind blew from the north.
