Once the site for the yearly fall fair, weekend farmers markets, special functions, hockey, daily bingo, etc. This site has been sitting abandoned now for about 2-3 years.
This multi complex building has been broken into many times since it has been abandoned, offering shelter, or a hangout.
In 2010 there was a break in, and someone had stolen a lot of copper wire from the site, so now police patrol this area frequently. In March 2011 someone had boarded the doors and windows more securely. There are a few hidden ways of gaining inside access to the building if you take your time and scan the building.

Yes, the entry way is still standing. This was so much more than just an old fairgrounds. The farmers market was open every Saturday in the building closest to Britannia street. There was an arena in the larger building. Many community events took place over the years. I used to roller skate there when in High school.
