This was a huge building that was built sometime in the 1890(a)s to accommodate some of the more "undesirable" residents of Woodstock at the time. At least that(a)s what anything I(a)ve ever read about the place seems to state. It caused quite a stir in the paranormal community when it went up for sale because it was thought to be haunted as the result of its illustrious past. Myself and a couple of friends were granted access to go in and take a few photos. This place was about as creepy as it gets. From what I understand it has since been demolished as portions of it were beyond repair. I(a)m told that the people who bought it salvaged and used as much of the materials from the building as they could in the new structure. Whether that(a)s true or not I cannot confirm.
