Old ruins of a stone house just off the "river and Ruin" side trail on the bruce trail between blind line and Bronte Creek Lowville. The ruins are of Squire Cleaver's house. He also built the mill ( now a private residence )in Lowville on the Guelph Line. The driveway from the ruins use to lead out to the village and the mill pond. I've never heard of a photograph but there might be one in the mill... The story goes that in the 20's it became a hunt

Visited in May 2021. It was a little tricky to find as you have to navigate through the forest but once you find it, it's super cool
nice ruins, looks similar to some ruins we used to go to back in Trenton
