From a suggestion from Clay ~ stopped by Arden on a rainy day. Can be classified as feeling like a semi ghost town & definitely a creepy place. Several abandoned places, a large United Church, an old bank building and residential homes scattered on several streets. Will have to return for a walk about when it isn(a)t raining so hard. Considering the condition of the small town - they are installing all new sidewalks throughout??

Diane ~ glad to see you stopped here. It is a creepy, little town. Should be up that way again soon for some more pix.
If you go again RC, be sure to check out the Arden Batik. Cute little place and great art work :) Also if you have the time, take a drive down Elm Tree Road. Very creepy. It's cottage country out there. Saw some abandoned trailers and shacks in the woods. It started pouring to hard to get any pics.
Will do Clay. A walk about around the few streets will get a better feeling. Crews were out replacing the sidewalks. Maybe there is something up. Wanna buy a town??
Thanks Rick..Folks should take a look at photo 6245. This photo feels so un-Canadian. If I didn't know any better I would swear that was a photo taken from a street in the American NE. I believe the bank was in that furthest away building (until the 1980s). If u are back please try to get another photo of it..
