I explored this house with my family, it was their first expedition into exploring.
There isn't much inside the house, it's pretty well been stripped of it's contents. Entry can be gained by stepping on a weak wooden platform and climbing up into the doorframe. The floors are quite solid and you can venture upstairs.
There are a few collapsed brick buildings near the house.

Congrats on the family exploration; you could be opening a whole new chapter! I should take some serious advice from this and GM's exploration with his children, but .... argh. Ticks. Nails. Sleeper cells. I guess you have to wisely choose your destinations, and this one certainly qualified as looking reasonably safe.

Luckily mine are of the age where I don't necessarily need to worry about them as much. They pretty much know what dangers to look for. Surprisingly, as I found out this weekend, my wife is quite nimble at dodging Turkey Vulchers cornered in a one room school house. Saved her own skin and ran right by me and our youngest!!
