This was where the first polio vaccines were tested. Lot of history here, not all good. Reports of child neglect and deaths of the patients. It is apparently haunted as well. Very exciting exploration with a lot of building to explore. The whole property is maintained and is used as a dog park. Moderate amount of foot traffic there. We tried to keep a low profile but we didn't get the vibe that the people walking dogs really cared about us. We were there in the day and clearly had cameras and didn't look like vandals.

Kenndruuh Yeah basic member is acceptable on this one. It's actually a tourist spot because of its gruesome history. You're just not supposed to go inside the buildings.. hehe oops. )Sorry for my crap pictures. They're pretty old now.)

Unknown User It seemed like a pretty moderate traffic area when we were there. Several people walking their dogs and even a few cars went through the service roads. Left it public since it seemed pretty well know. Even google street view goes down the roads on the property.
