Location # 6587

This former public housing building with 18 ground level units now sits abandoned on Islington Ave. Once part of the Ontario public housing portfolio, was transferred to the city of Toronto on January 1st 2001. Toronto Community Housing Corporation closed the building in 2011/2012 as part of its initiative to move residents to newer, less run down properties. No idea where the residents of this building were transferred.

Building is currently sealed up pretty good and features some very suggestive graffiti.

Seems like it would be a bit difficult to get inside, gonna post pictures for proof but basically, construction is going on. Fence around the place. Could be possibly accessible through this one gate I saw but I didn't wanna risk in case there were cams.

I wonder if this place is accessible now.. Not in a nice area so maybe I'll pop by and see if there's a POE.

Haha! Not unless one would consider a battered and spat on intercom as priceless

Nice one! I guess we won't have to worry about people stealing priceless antiques from this location...
