On April 4th, 2007 Police closed in on an investigation against The Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club and raided many of their club houses all over Ontario. This was to be a precedent setting case where many forms of property were seized. The case is probably going to linger in the justice system for the rest of eternity. http://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2012/06/07/hells_angels_clubhouse_now_federal_property.html

The Toronto club house was located on Eastern Ave where I believe the police actually smashed through the concrete walls during this raid. They also immediately began dismantling, removing and seizing all signage and ornaments thought to be "criminal organization" related material including a large bronze "death head" statue.

Even that alone was major trial material and legal discussion for our courts as can be seen in this article: http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/12/03/convicted-hells-angels-to-get-seized-death-head-stuff-back-judge-rules/

There is much on-line material regarding this case if anyone interested cares to dive into this subject, but there is also holes in the story as there are several court orders banning release of certain information.

I took a walk around the property today, and any raid damage has been sealed up, not sure who is in control of it at this time, but it has sat vacant since and starting to show the signs of abandonment deterioration.

Obviously made no attempt to gain access, but thought interesting enough.

Great stuff, I used to live around the corner, they were great neighbours and they helped keep break in's and crime very low...because who wants to break into a home of a potential Hells Angel knowing that their clubhouse is in the area!! GS I think I had posted the one in Welland...but ya it seems to be gone :(

At least you fit the part and would be left alone on the property if seen. Me? I'm more like someone's punk-ass whipping boy. Check it out if interested: 43.0260, -79.1952. This one is surrounded by barbed wire fencing and has key-card access. Funny... someone plows a path to the front entrance still with every snowfall.

I was going to link to the similar Niagara clubhouse posted on here a few years ago by Photocbear, but it must have gotten whacked in the cleanup. It is far more remote, and was called a "previously impenetrable fortress" by the crown attorney. Coincidentally passed by it two days ago and thought about stopping but... ha.
