Metropolitan (ghost town)

Metropolitan is a typical crossroads hamlet that was first settled around 1860. The village reached it peak in the 1890(a)s, when it boasted a saw mill and a grist mill. The school house that was built in 1872 is said to be the only remaining building. The farmhouse next door to the school is still there, and it looks like it could have been around in the days of Metropolitan, but I(a)m not sure.
