Pioneer cemetery. Most residents were the original land grant settlers from the early 1800's.

If you can read the dates from the lower rez pictures, the range in lifespans is dramatic....................................................................mobileworks adds ........This area was known as Trafalgar and was part of Halton County, at one time. It went from Lake Ontario to Steeles, and From Winston Churchill to Burloak. The cemetery extended into the now east bound Dundas Street lanes and no mention of any re-location but the headstones along Dundas hopefully were the ones moved. This cemetery was established in 1820 and was owned by none other than Daniel Munn. He is the oldest here but I could not find him. His wife Millicent is suppose to be close to him. This cemetery and church across is all that remains of the hamlet of Munn's Corners. This cemetery, despite the church across , became abandoned from World War I to the 1950's. It is now taken care of by the Town of Oakville.

mobileworks Great old cemetery and fence. I wonder why the church across, with the same name, neglected this cemetery, until the Town took it over? There is more to this story.
