Catherine's Farm

Demolished House in Thames Centre, Ontario, Canada

Yellow brick farmhouse with some outbuildings. It looks like this house has been abandoned for years. An unusual thing about it is that it has no bathroom. If you look at the brickwork and the roof, you can see that the rear section was added later.

The house and barn is now filled with spray painted messages all throughout. I hope this person is in a much better place now.

A beauty property. There were some fresh tractor tracks & it looks to be a way to get to the fields. I don't recall seeing the washing machine, I forgot all about it until seeing some of the older pictures. Either it's gone or I'm goofy.

The chicken coop is full of chickens. It is just behind the house. This land is still active and grass lanes are cut.

what a beautiful house and free of vandalism. Why is there no location? I would love to go and see this house and take some pics. I am in the London area and have been to most of the locations on this site for London and looking for something new to explore

The property was originally settled by D. Buchanan.

The barn is pretty great to check out. I would be fairly careful, though, as the floor is covered in hay, and there are some spots where it has obviously fallen in. The light streaming in between the boards lends itself well to really artistic shots. Also, who doesn't love a good barn?

I am not a full member but I also believe that this should be a full members location. There is enough decay and no graffiti!! Hopefully it will remain this way so I can go back and explore the out buildings.

Went there today and could easily have spent the entire day there. The house has incredible options for photos. The house should be entered with caution because it is almost impossible to see what you are actually stepping on. The second floor is a little sketchy if you have some weight to you. Plus it looks like a fire went through part of the house. Feel like I got some great shots though.

Wow, this place was WAY better than you made it sound in the introductory description. What a great collection of "left behinds". And the house itself looks so intimidating from the outside. I bet urban legends resonate through the local youth about this place.
