I was driving around looking for abandoned houses, and I came across a property with an overgrown driveway and a 'For Sale' sign and figured it was worth a look. As I walked down the driveway, the grass got thicker and taller--the remnants of the driveway becoming less and less visible with each passing step. I encountered a pile of rubble that appeared to be leftovers from a demolished house several years ago. Still, I kept searching, until I came across a beautifully decrepit bridge over Dingman Creek, and on the other side, an antique piece of machinery that I believe was a bulldozer.

The bridge is in rough shape, but stick to the metal and avoid the wood and you should be fine, as long as you have decent balance. (Not for those who UrbEx while intoxicated...)

It definitely wasn't what I was hoping for, but still a nice mini-hike. Check yourself for dog ticks upon departure--I had about nine on me.

The city owns this property now, they bought it in 2017. No idea what, if anything, they plan on doing with it.

Good eye, and a good end to a bulldozer.

Great find. Looks like a vintage Bailey Bridge.

Nor I! Would have loved to have seen the house when it was there.
