The Former Kingston Park Raceway is shown in its current rundown state. It has been empty for 15 years. In its glory years -- the 1980s -- Kingston Park Raceway was one of the busier B card circuits in the province. The slot machines that would turn out to be saviours for other B tracks -- Peterborough(a)s Kawartha Downs is a good example -- were blocked long enough by local politicians that Kingston Park, which ended under the ownership of Dick Trotter, finally closed its doors.

Is this place still there?

The groundskeeper was pretty pissed with us, and told us to get out before we could go into the building. For future visitors, try asking for permission first, he drives a big white truck.

There some that use it for training - because it is official size. Was there with my son-in-law & daughter. They train some their horses there before going to Rideau Carleton.

Hey coupe. Nice find. do people still use the track, or the owners use the property?
