Wink and a Nod

I hit the jackpot today. There's a stretch of road that connects 2 concession lines but doesn't go anywhere else. It's only used as a short cut. There are 6 houses along one side of this road. Behind them is a huge rock quarry, and across the street all the trees have been cut down and a development has begun. There is a nice old farmhouse and barn at one end that I knew was empty. I tried it last summer but could not gain entry, walked away disappointed. Besides the neighbor was quite close. I thought I would drive by and have another look and to my surprise, all 6 houses show obvious signs of vacancy. Some hydro meters are missing, some boards are clearly visible from the road. I hit 3 in a row, and killed both my batteries. Went home, recharged them and returned later that day to continue. Iv'e posted 5 of the 6 which had easy access. There is one left with a tiny POE which I didn't want to lay on the ground with mud and snow to access.Feel free to claim that one. There is convenient parking at both ends of this stretch of road with a short walk in. You can walk along behind the properties and hit one after another, spend all afternoon there
This old farmhouse is the oldest and favorite one of mine . Lots of stuff to sort through scattered about. Nice old barn and several out buildings.
