This beautiful abandoned stone farmstead was once the home of John Werry and his wife Agnes. In 1871, at the age of 23, John was the owner of a 198 acre estate northeast of Bowmanville at the area once known as "Bethesda". The beautiful stone house is boarded up as tight as a clam, but the shed and barns are accessible.
