Massive imposing building from the front. Water St. Glass additions clearly.
Exit only with the clock tower up dere.
Another sign explaining significance and a bit of history.
That turret is where the stairs be.
Behind the pizza place next door. As if the addition is really a dull mirror like finish on this side. LOL.
If you go, and you look at it up close, the rain tubes here dont look overly functional. Maybe for show. There would be ONE way to find out for sure and I dont know if Im THAT curious.
Its amazing how the original building is half encased in glass. Very neat.
The difficulty of getting this color glass was one of the many struggles of this restoration. Its like 1885 colors. They dont make that stuff no mo.
Looking out the front on the main floor. Its slightly above ground level. You can see into the basement from the sidewalk level.
In better economic times, there may be some entertaining here from the looks of this.
Architecturally PHENOMENAL. All I can say is so well restored. The additions are not the greatest but the main building has SO MANY original features its so neat. Not bastardized.
Most of this glass was smashed out prior to the massive restoration.
Delivery entrance only I believe.
Dark woodwork on the ceiling.
