This house was simply wonderful to explore. It looks like whoever had lived there cleared out real fast - as you can see from the photos there is a whole bunch of stuff left, including canned food, beds complete with kitten bedcovers, and photo albums displaying pictures of flowers. Easy POE - a door was unlocked and open. Thankfully there was a storm door to keep animals out. The house even had a finished basement with a wood panelled tv room and another room lined with bookshelves. Behind the house there is a massive barn. Didn't go in it as the mosquitos were relentless in the forested area. Have listed neighbours as a potential hazard; the property is currently for sale so it's possible somebody could stop by to see the land, and there is an active farm across the road. Nobody bothered me while I was there however. The listing for the property mentions the house is abandoned, and the property it belongs to stretches all the way to Cromarty Drive, and even to the West to include a portion of the gravel pit.

Neils E. Danielson passed away on April 30, 2014.

There is also now a sign out front that says a planning application has been submitted.

I get a Niels Erik Danielsen as the former owner; the property was transferred as part of his estate in 2014. I can''t seem to find an online obituary for him however.
