I've been scoping this one for about a year and finally decided it was time. I was immediately struck by the gorgeous setting here. Sight lines are killer, pure silence, lots of sun when it's not hiding. Plenty to see here, including a 1949 Lincoln and gutted kit car/raccoon nest out back. The house has some personal items, sad items such as a box of childhood photo albums and baseball trophies. It looks like someone started renovating and then stopped...a common thing it seems. There is a family of chipmunks living in the front foyer who were very pissed by my visit and weren't afraid to let me know! Doesn't seem to be any coon presence inside yet. Despite early signs of decay, I'm not 100% convinced this one isn't someone's hobby they come to every now and then. Driveway has a section of bricks that are tricky to navigate. Other than that, a lovely explore this time of year with Lilac flowers doing their part. PM if you'd like to visit ;)

Everything is gone from here now. All that remains is the concrete foundation of the outbuilding. Changed status..

This place is a mess now. Peeling paint, missing doors, appliances tossed everywhere. Lots of garbage outside hints at a party spot for teens.

Glad you got out there Trail...hopefully the Lincoln wasn't stolen and just temporarily stored there.

Finally cured my curiosity with this one. Thought it was a new location until I started recognizing some familiarities. Seems like an aborted reno. Nothing has gotten better here, only worse. And the Lincoln is gone..
