Completed in 1845 replaceing a wooden Aqueduct that was beginning to rot. Supported by four arches that were 45 feet wide and 134 feet high. It was built of stone from Queenston Ontario. It stayed in use till 1930 and became Cross St Pool in 1946 It was my favorite swimming spot when i was young and it was free! :) It remained a pool till 1984. This part of the Aqueduct wall was unearthed which i didn't even know was there when i was a kid.

Not me. I actually have crap luck fishing here. But the road seriously is a paste of squished fish in the summer from others doing this with gobies here. 8 out of every 10 fish is a goby!
Its good to kill round gobies cuz i think they're an invasive species...but not to the road dammit..
... And now it has become a place to go fishing, and whip them onto the road to get run over by cars when all you catch are round gobies!!

I know...just sayin. Same with carp. Damn scavengers will eat anything and they're eating all the young game fish.
