Description

After the War of 1812 & Kingston, Ontario being the 1st Capital of Canada ~ the British decided to build defenses against any American Naval attack.
Fort Henry - along with 5 fortris' on the water w/cannons.
Schoal Tower protected the Capital Building (now City Hall)
Open for 1 day ~ 3 years ago (1st time in 125 years).
Only open 1 day a year since - to approx. 100 visitors.
Walls are 14' thick on the water side & 9' thick on the shore side.
