This is a nice old pioneer log home, it appears to be the only building on the property. No doubt the metal roof has protected this place from harsh northern winters. The log home was constructed using logs with dove-tail corners and cedar shingle siding. There is no furniture and very little junk lying around the area, nothing to identify the owner of the property. The staircase inside that leads up to what once was a loft is pretty shifty and will not last much longer. The door wedged diagonally in the doorframe appears to be holding the house up. The outside of the house has been scratched up by bears, it looks like they may have been gnawing on the corners as well.
