Oastler Lake Trailer Park

I would love to know more about this abandoned trailer park on Oastler Lake just south of Parry Sound on the old Highway 69. There are at least 6 distinct buildings spread out over about 10 acres. This is a nice snapshot of 1960/70s cottage/resort architecture.

I first visited this site about 10 years ago. Since then the more easily accessible buildings have been badly vandalized, virtually all the windows broken. A Barrier has been put across the causeway to keep out ATV traffic. The remains of the trailer sites are now completely overgrown and very difficult to see. The more distant cottages and shower building are not vandalized, but getting to them requires some tough slogging through the underbrush.
