This farmer's market has long since seen it's final customer walk out the door with their bag of strawberries and blueberries.

Of interest is what appears to be a shrine made up of a statue of the Virgin Mary, at the base of which lay beautiful quartz stones. Christmas lights and spotlights have been set up I would surmise to light up the shrine come nightfall.

There are no less than three steel crosses embedded into the ground, which makes one wonder if this isn't a gravesite of some sort? Alas, there were no answers on this day... only hot sun and more places to be.

GPS Co-ordinates are not accurate, but Powassan is not a large town.

McGuire's Farmers Market is located on Carr Road, in Trout Creek, Municipality of Powassan. The owners were Catholic and so erected the statue of the Virgin Mary. I highly doubt there being any graves, as the farmer's market was started in the latter half of the 20th century by Dutchman, who dug the drainage canals behind the building.
