Another heritage home slated for demolition because of the 407. Matter of fact they were beginning demolition when I arrived. I hadn't planned to stop here, didn't even know about it, I was thinking what a boring trip I had taken because 5 out of 8 of my locations I had in my agenda were already demo'ed, then I passed this beauty. I quickly turned around and went back, the demolition crew was there and the man operating the backhoe had "happily" just turned it on. I explained to him why I was there, he turned the backhoe off, told me I had 5 minutes, to get into the house and get my photo's because if his boss came by he'd be in big crap lol. The foreman was there as well and had just salvaged himself a very nice wood encased hot tub!
This house is and was absolutely gorgeous, from it's exteriors to the interiors, 2 levels, nice paint jobs, hardwood flooring, fixtures and 2 fireplaces one on each level.
The 407 is really doing a number on these beautiful old homes I'd say!
