Description
Here are some classic Ontario post office photos from the turn of the 20th century. Back then our post offices were much more attractive than the box-like structures we were left with in the 1960's. Many of these architectual marvels were laid to waste by fire or demolition; however, some of these do still stand and are still used as post offices.

Most of these photos are over 50 years old and so there is no copyright infringement by showing them, as they are now for public usage. The newer photos were taken by myself.

The Midland PO is actually the current Library. I haven't been in it since the renovations, but rumour has it that there is an apartment in the clock tower.
The current Post Office looks to be of 1950's design:
