This farm is long gone. The photos are taken from 35mm prints, which I took about 15 years ago. This was back in the day when I loved exploring abandoned places, but never realized that there was a hobby associated with it, let alone that I was supposed to take lots of photographs for future use. I explored back then just because of the enjoyment of the moment and the connection these old farmhouses gave to the past.
The farm consisted of a very old and abandoned farmhouse, with a spectacular view over Collingwood and Georgian Bay, what we would call a million dollar view. There was also a large barn, which was still in use at the time, and may still be there today. There was some great old furniture and appliances inside the house, including a wood stove and roll-top desk. Wish I had more photos, but sadly this is all I have of an original mountain farm from the past.
