Located across the highway from Agawa....
This used to be a public station where people could catch a Algoma Central Railway train for a scenic ride of the Agawa Canyon. I did this several times when I was younger. At some point it was shut down and converted into a logging road leading to a loading area for freight trains that come through.
The original office has been demolished (see foundations picture) and the picnic tables and rest area have been removed. I'm pretty sure the current buildings are used by those working in the area
Although the road leading in is long and pretty rough it's drivable in a dinky Cavalier as I discovered. Even if there's no train it's not a bad way to spend an afternoon if your staying at Agawa
