Description

This is an abandoned theatre in downtown Brantford. It was used in the movie, "Silent Hill", but other than that, I know no further information about this place.

I do know that much of Brantford's old downtown is abandoned, with many buildings having been boarded up.

This was the Esquire Theatre in Brantford's downtown. It was built in 1937 in the style of Art Deco. It originally seated 982.
In July 2010 the building was demolished along with other buildings in a decision to demolish the south side of Colborne St.
