The Ebenezer cemetery sign has got to be one of the best, in design and material, that I have seen. Some local machine shop can be proud of their work as it will last for centuries. Unfortunately they remain anonymous but I am glad they took their time and did a good job. This cemetery was closed in 1973 with some here as young as a few days to over 90 years old. Some headstones look like they have been under water for hundreds of years with heavy corrosion and plant life growing on them. It is sad to see the names erased by years of exposure, and poor choice of material, but I have managed to read a few by changing the light, and creating shadows, but only on a few.
