This was my first visit into CROWE foundries but this was many visits for ishootthings while scouting the area we notice the door was closed and disregarded and kept on searching around the area as we're coming back to that same area we notice the door was open this time I shoot things asked if I had my respirator I said I do so we threw them on and started walking towards the building just then two teenagers a girl and a boy come stumbling out the door they see us with our big fuck off respirators and stand stunned like a deer in headlights it was at this point that Ishootthings screamed out hey what are you doing and they ran like they had fire shooting out of their ass! we laughed asses off almost falling to the floor and proceeded into the building this was a really fun explorer

This is labeled as ‘‘Demolished’’ But clearly there are some offices to explore with much paperwork.

Demolished. Fully. Equipment still looks to be on site. Or one piece of it.

The party is indeed coming to a close. The smaller building, Vandem, is being bricked up solid with cinderblocks. The main foundry building is being worked on, looks like some of it is being taken down. Quite a crew in there today.

Was there this past weekend & some old man was feeding feral cats. After parking a red pickup with a cap drove up & parked along side the building. After a short explore we left & while driving away the old man was inside the grounds. Not sure if he was the truck's driver or not.

i watched this place a bit before entering. I think the red pick up is a guy from next door. my rule is....walk past. wait for cars to go. hide behind the front building. wait for a few cars to go. then head back. I do this because some knob in a truck is watching. He must be spend a shit load on gas watching this place.

@ bps...I see you ran into cliche pickup guy...I've had the pleasure of his holler before too, before he drove off like a yappy dog. Probably affiliated with the scrappers, one would think?

Went There...some guy yelled at me..."Hey......Hey..." I just kept walkin. Spent about 15 minutes in there. Watching out the windows and doors. Saw a black pickup truck drive up, back up drive up again, a little uneasy. Grab about a dozen shots and beat it out of there. Went out the front, walked around the block, took off my brown sweater to reveal my blue T-shirt, made my way round about back to

Ah, the pickup guy. Probably the same guy that hollered at myself and a couple other souls as we were exiting. He sped off before we came close, was a tad odd.

I think an explore here (in the industrial part anyways) in the bitter cold would trump the day I trudged through sludge lol...give me some frozen muck any day! Great pix as always sonic.

finally got there today. Spent 2 1/2 hours there in -8c temperatures. My stuff is more on the creative side rather than the documentary side. There are many open doors to this place, the road has some frequent cars. Was surprised at what I found since I don't think I saw them in other galleries. I climbed to the very top platform and walked a bit before I realized there was no railing on the

Ya skye...might as well put a sign out front. there are a few good points. there are a few buildings here and I only went into two by myself. the place looks a mess.....but might be worth a photo shoot.

saw this site today. looks like someone placed plywood on the fence to gain access. Really dumb. at the west end of the site, close to the parking look for the trail, the fence ends and allows easy access. Also, someone in a red pick up backed into a location at the east end, where there is an open lane way between the two properties. The weather sucked and i was sick so all i did was sort of
