A.K.A. Christ Church Vespra Cemetery (1873-1949), from the sign on this property. Vespra, is the township. There is a pumping monitor point at one corner. There is a Priest, Edward Morgan, born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,[West Indies] 1806, here. I wonder what his first winter here was like and what he thought of snow? Broken fencing surrounds him but a large cross headstone in the middle. There is a nice symbolic old bench in his plot as well. Ed survived at least one volcanic eruption in 1812, at six years old, that devastated most of the island of St Vincent and the Grenadines, and killing thousands of people. If he was still there another volcanic eruption triggered by an earthquake killed over 5,000 of his people in 1843. Those events had an impact on his profession, I am sure. The island was under British rule during this time and is today but the French had it for a while. A well weathered headstone for a Mrs. Green, here, but I can't recall ever seeing ; Mrs. or Mr. on a headstone. Closed and/or abandoned. A church is believed to have been somewhere here, too. The Orrock family has planted a tree near their closed plot but the tree needs attention. There was also several odd broken plastic pieces strewn around the cemetery sign.
