Not far off Chemong road in a grazing field are the remains of a very old barn. Of what looks to be early 20th century construction, it was made with stone and mortar rather than brick or concrete and was partly built into the side of a hill. The entire roof collapsed and looks like it was partly cleared to one side.
There is another small building on the site that looks like a cattle stall. Lots of junk strewn around the area in general. There were some really cool old items like the treads of an early tractor and some old wagon wheels.
It is likely a house stood here once too, but nothing remains besides its foundations, a well and some power lines.
