Wow its nice inside. I always felt this place was closely watched. Eltons house is just up the hill on this same side of the highway on Escarpment Side Rd. The long gated driveway with video surveillance.

Apparently for about a year the was a massive hand painted sign out front of this house saying so and so owed this much money... Thaaaats all I know.

I have learned that a friend of a friends (brothers, cousins, uncle... Ha ha ha) parents used to rent this place. Apparently his family were the renters... Now it sits empty.

Elton John's house is very close to this house as well.

I used to know someone who lived in this house.

I have wondered about this house for a while! There always seems to be some sort of activity in and around the area! May be worth conversing with the farmer you saw next time and seeing if you can track down the owner.....I have had success doing this previously, it is always nice having permission to break and enter. :o)

Nice find. Farmers do rent acreage off each other.
