Here lies the remains of a small cottage and accompanying outhouse, perched precariously on the banks of the Black River. Most of the cabin has collapsed, seemingly being sucked into the black depths of the river. Very dangerous place to enter, the flooring giving way and the roof not far behind. Inside you will find a few household items of interest, but watch for errant porcupine quills, which belong to the latest casualty.
There are neighbours very close by, but no one was home during my visit, so I'm not sure if they are friendly or not. Judging by the signage on their properties, I would go with not. Easy parking can be found around the corner.
