The Beck family was one of the founding families in Penetanguishene. I beleive they owned a mill and maybe a shipping company as well. There is also a house on Fox Street that was theirs and is just awesome but some fool turned it into apartments. This graveyard is just amazing.

I'm thankful we were able to access this place when we did, as during winter it is closed for the public. We were able to open the moseleum without a problem, and take photos. I have to return one day to take photos of some of the graves, as some date back a long time ago.
hm thats kinda of a toss up...penetang let st james on the line get sold to a private party, the old beck house has been turned into apts., midland has a tendency to just throw down old historic places...
The Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene have some real history to them and they have done a great job protecting them.
