Gallery for manually coded location #264 AYR for full description. On the first building in Ayr I found graffiti from several years. Abel's Mudge Mill was the first building in Ayr. A Watson, from the foundry[big stack] also gave his life for King and Country in the First World War. The Tannery on Tannery St. is missing a few supports but is holding up well. It is mainly built on cement pads and huge logs and great infrastructure, still. The only standing creamery and ice storage building in Canada is now fenced off. I guess the bank was original, but has an odd newer addition 'round back. The Post Office was abandoned several years ago, but looks great today.
