A nice old pioneer cemetery beside much vacant land where a church once stood and was built around 1889 and not sure til when. The cemetery is a little older and saw headstones dating back to the 1850s.The headstones were too close together [front and back] making them hard to read. It must have taken a lot of time to get all that detail [like around the edges, which I haven't seen before] in these headstones back in the day. Surrounded by a farm supply business, now. This pioneer cemetery was set in a ways from the road, under a tree, and not so easy to spot. Glen Allan[close-by] was a busy little town back in the 1880s but could see no sign of Conestogo lake.
