This small white farmhouse is all that is left of the farm that once prospered on a rural crossroad. Unfortunately, it is no longer rural and the growing expanse of Newmarket is about to pave over this lovely little place.
At one time there was a vegetable stand at the corner, selling fresh produce grown in the nearby fields, now thousands of cars each day speed by, ignoring the past and waiting impatiently for the next gas station or Timmies to open up on this busy corner.
Time has run out, and the machines of destruction are currently ripping up the property.
I apologize for the drive by pics. There is no parking here and I wanted to document this place while it still stands.
